Intro To HTML

Hello

Hello my name is Sam. I have a dog named Sally.

I am in computer science.

I do not like school.

The message at the top is the message I created with html code. The message that said "Hello" was in the heading (<h1>). The other message displayed underneath the "Hello" heading was the body message of "Hello my name is Sam. I have a dog named Sally." The html message bolded in a small text said "I am in computer science." The last message of the body stated "I do not like school." This message was done using html code on the w3 schools website template.

HTML Quiz

The html quiz was somewhat difficult for me. I received a 36% on my quiz. The tags expressed were not all covered in the pre unit we went over in class. Some of the tags were expressed in class so it was easier to understand the meaning of them but most of them were unexpressed. For next time I would like to learn more tags. For example, background color and font etc. Hopefully next time I will have a greater knowledge for the subject and receive a better score.

20Q's

Sam and I played the online version of 20Q's. We picked the music category and chose a singer we both liked. We chose Drake. The computer did not guess our singer and even went on over the twenty questions but did not succeed. The computer generated names like Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Tyga to name just a few names. The questions asked were general in relation to the looks and music genre this singer had. Drake is a rapper and they continued to ask questions in relation to his genre but did not guess correctly in the end.

Cornrows

This is a design of a traditional native american cornrow. The process is using t-shaped images shifted together to create the look of a cornrow. The cornrow follows the shape of the head. In this design I made the cornrow is slightly curved towards the end of the image.

Current Event: Hypersonic Engine Could 'Revolutionize' Air Travel

British aerospace, BAE, is planning to invest approximately thirty million dollars on aerospace technology that can be used for space vehicles that can revolutionize air travel. They are working to create vehicles that combine both jet and rocket powered engines that will take off and land like an aircraft. The plan is to use an air breathing rocket engine that will enable the aircraft to soar at five times the speed of sound. The aircraft works as both a rocket for space travels and as an airplane for shorter distance earth flights. This project is about two decades away from launching.
